NEWSFLASH - Ilalong Talisman takes out the High Point Horse of the Show Award at the
2011 Qld State ASH Championship Show at Woodford.
Welcome to Highplains Australian Stock Horses. We are located at Dundathu on the Fraser Coast, (between Maryborough and Hervey Bay, Queensland); a 3 hour drive north of Brisbane.
Highplains stands the sire, “Ilalong Talisman” who carries heritage bloodlines on both sides of his pedigree.
Talismans foals are regularly featured in the winner’s circle with many Royal Show Championships, National and Futurity Wins to their names.
Here at Highplains, we pride ourselves on our facilities and mare care. Mares brought to the stud are fed twice daily with quality feed and Lucerne and are rugged (if required) and kept in strong safe paddocks and yards.
Mares are yarded at night in Timber Post and Rail and are let out individually during the day in the home paddock to graze. Mares with foals at foot are a regular here at Highplains and always welcome. First class care of your baby is assured.
Highplains has no overhanging trees or foliage in or near yards, feeding, watering and stable areas. Horse safety is our primary concern and we are generally onsite 24/7.
